It’s been a while since I looked at WalkScore and there is now an app for Android and IOS.

The score itself is an interesting measure, but the app also features an isochronic map. I’m sure it’ll come in handy for multi-modal transport discussions, comparing access and highlighting biases.

Some of the place information is out of date, owing to site development and the natural turnover of businesses. For the most part, the scores won’t be largely changed by business turnover, but transformational projects, such as Pukeahu, can dramatically change walking times and resulting scores.
